Hello my name is little Maxwell

On January 18th 2013, I was diagnosed with a life term illness named Mitochondrial Disease. Mines a very rare type too. I need full time carers around the clock, this includes the help from my wonderful mummy and daddy who I love to the moon and back! My care is very demanding and requires many specialist machines that beep a lot and really clever doctor people helping me every day. :)

We are fundraising for: £26,000 per year for medication, £18,000 for a hydrotherapy pool and £6,000 per year for physiotherapy.

Maxwell’s Story

Maxwell is a gorgeous 3-year-old boy, who at the age of 9 months went from being a healthy baby to needing continuous medical support.

After many months in hospital, Maxwell is finally home but we need help to care for him.

Mitochondrial Disease

Mitochondrial disease is a group of disorders caused by dysfunctional mitochondria. It takes on unique characteristics in each individual and can be very serious.

Why fundraise for us?

With your help we can continue to care for Maxwell at home whilst providing the specialist help he needs to survive.

Interested in getting involved? How about fundraising through your own events? Perhaps find out more about Maxwell’s condition and join us promoting awareness. We’re looking forward to hearing from you, please contact us here!

We are constantly appealing for tradespeople to donate their skills and builders’ merchants to donate materials.

Within the last 2 years we’ve raised a staggering £69,000!

Through all the wonderful and caring individuals who have made this possible. Thank you!
